UKAS-accredited pendulum and surface roughness testing for swimming pools, hydrotherapy facilities, leisure centres, hotel pools and aquatic environments across Oxford and the wider Oxfordshire region.
Oxford combines the Hinksey, Ferry and Temple Cowley pools with hotel pool stock across the city centre and the surrounding hotel estate, the University of Oxford college pool facilities (where present), and Oxford Brookes University aquatics.
Typical Oxford instructions include: leisure trust periodic compliance; hotel-group periodic testing; college and university aquatics facility testing; and pre-handover testing on heritage hotel pool refurbishments.
We deliver UKAS ISO/IEC 17025-accredited pendulum and surface roughness testing in Oxford and across the wider Oxfordshire region under the same accreditation that covers our national operations. Pendulum testing follows BS EN 16165:2021 Annex C (the current UK standard, replacing BS 7976-2 in February 2022) using Slider 55 for barefoot pool environments, with Slider 57 and Slider 96 added for sock and shod transitions where relevant. Reports are typically delivered within five working days of the visit, with urgent attendance available where post-incident or pre-handover deadlines require it.
